Grinding Gear Games has been on the war path these last few days. And now, heading into Memorial Day weekend in the US, the developer has even more announcements for fans to check out.
First let’s run through the new weekend microtransaction sale that GGG is offering to players. Path of Exile players always need more Stash Tab space, so these sales are a real treat. In this sale, Path of Exile‘s cash shop has placed all of the specialty Stash Tabs on sale, including the brand new Uniques collection Tab. This means that all the cool tabs like the Fragment Tab, Map Tab, Premium Stash Tab Bundles, Premium Quad Stash Tab, Essence Tab, Divination Tab, Currency Tab and Guild Stash Tabs are now discounted. So if you want to grab the new Stash Tabs, now is a pretty good time.
The second bit of new is that Grinding Gear Games has unleashed some cool new MTX bonuses for Twitch Prime subs who link their Twitch account to their POE account. These include the newly released Divine Herald effects for armor and skills. Check out the preview videos for these cosmetic items down below.
This set of effects joins the ton of other bonuses for various games that Twitch Prime entails. The service is directly linked to Amazon Prime, so subscribers to that service have Twitch Prime too. In addition to game-based bonuses which change from month-to-month, you also get one free Twitch subscription which can be gifted to a streamer of your choice on the site. It’s all pretty cool and definitely worth the money.
In other POE news, gamers finally found out what the next expansion will be. Path of Exile: Legion has been revealed. Contained within the associated Path of Exile 3.7 patch, alongside the huge melee rebalance, the game is also reworking a bunch of core mechanics and boss fights. The developer is also introducing some new skills too.
Path of Exile is currently free-to-play on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. And the Legion expansion is due on June 7, 2019. The expansion will launch June 10th on consoles. Check out the full announcement on the main site.
