Overkill’s Walking Dead game gets fourth character trailer
The final trailer for the fourth character for Overkill’s The Walking Dead has been released. Say hello to Heather, a former kindergarten teacher fighting to survive just like everyone else. She joins Aidan, Maya and Grant in the four player undead wasteland of Washington DC. Her story looks to be pretty freaking brutal, I just hop that the game actually has some of the storytelling potential as these trailers.
And since there’s no shortage of engaging and brutal characters and stories in the Walking Dead universe, it would be a shame to see all that potential go to waste.
Made by Payday developers Overkill Software, the game’s still a bit of a mystery, beyond being a co-op zombie-killing FPS with L4D-sounding dynamic levels and new characters and stories in the world of Robert Kirkman’s zombie comics. It remains to be seen exactly what final gameplay looks like, and we likely won’t know until later in 2018 when Overkill’s The Walking Dead finally launches.
Until then, feast your eyes on all four of the character trailers for the game below.
