Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date Delayed to Early 2019

Kingdom Hearts III delayed

Kingdom Hearts 3 may be arriving somewhat later than expected, according to an announcement made during Saturday night’s Kingdom Hearts Orchestra event. Kingdom Hearts creator Tetsuya Nomura apologized to fans and asked that they practice patience.

While fans of the series will no doubt be disappointed, there is some information with which to take solace. The scope of the game is much larger than previous titles, with new Disney and other franchises joining the game as time passes. We’ve seen some Toy Story content before, for example.

As far as new announcements for the game at E3 2018, Square Enix has sent out a new trailer and details about how Elsa, Anna and the Frozen franchise will join in the fray. Check out the trailer for this new addition below.

Kingdom Hearts 3 releases on January 29 for the PS4 and Xbox One.
