How to get Steel in Ghost of Tsushima

There will be plenty of enemies you’re going to take on in your trip through Feudal Japan in Ghost of Tsushima. To take some of the tougher enemies down, you need to upgrade your gear, and you will need resources to do that. One of the most needed resources is Steel in Ghost of Tsushima.

The various weaponsmiths throughout the game will list different resources you need to bring them to acquire better gear. Steel is a pretty basic component, so you will need a lot of it.

Getting Steel in Ghost of Tsushima is mostly about paying attention and playing the game. If you wish to check how many resources you have, hit the Options button to open the menu, then select the Collections tab and your Satchel. Your satchel will list all of the Wood, Cloth, Steel and other resources you have via this menu.

Here are the most common ways of getting Steel in Ghost of Tsushima:

  • Looting – steel can occasionally be found by looting buildings that you find in the game. When looting item containers and drops in villages and farms, you can rarely find different resources, including steel.
