Overkill’s The Walking Dead announces PC Beta

Overkill’s The Walking Dead delayed on PS4 and Xbox One

Overkill’s The Walking Dead is lumbering it’s way toward release in just a few months, and the developers over at Overkill are working hard to get the game ready in time. One part of that preparation is on upcoming beta test for PC players.

To gain access to this beta, you will have to have pre-ordered the PC version of the game. If you snapped up the standard edition, you get one beta code, those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition will get four beta codes to share with friends. The beta will begin on October 6, 2018.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead will be a cooperative first-person survival shooter in the style of Left4Dead with a mission structure and variable settings, all centered around the undead-infested ruins of Washington DC.

As previously announced, the PC version of the game will launch ahead of the other versions on consoles. The PC version of the game will land on November 6, while the console versions will arrive a few months later in February 2019.
