Vampyr adding new story-focused and Hard modes in future update

Vampyr

Dontnod Entertainment has announced that the new Vampyr difficulty update will roll out next week on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The update was announced a few months ago, and finally has a release date.

This upcoming patch will add in two new settings that will affect game difficulty on September 26. There will now be two new modes in-game Story or Hard mode. In Story mode, players will not face as many combat challenges and see a much easier journey through the gothic environs of Vampyr. Hard mode will up the challenge from combat encounters, while reducing the amount of EXP earned throughout the course of the story. In short, if you found the base game too easy, this is the mode for you.

And of course, the patch will also include a litany of bug fixes, optimizations and some new PC features. Specifically, the update will enable Nvidia Ansel technology in-game to allow gamers to snap screenshots during play.
