How To Get the Natural Talent Mod in Warframe

How to get Sevagoth and Epitaph in Warframe

Natural Talent is a mod that improves the Casting Speed of Warframe abilities. This modifier makes it incredibly useful for builds that need to stack certain abilities or status effects in rapid succession. Reducing the downtime of your core attacks or other elements within your build can be the difference between glory and defeat.

This, among many other powerful mods in the game, is really easy to use. You need to keep a few things in mind though, and one of them is cost. Each Warframe mod has a cost associated with it in terms of energy consumed by your frame. The higher the tier of the mod, the more energy it takes to slot in. Like all modifiers in the game, Natural Talent Mod in Warframe has multiple tiers. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Rank Effect Cost
0 +12.5% 6
1 +25% 7
2 +37.5% 8
3 +50% 9

How To Get the Natural Talent Mod in Warframe

So, how do you actually get this mod? There are two ways you can get your hands on it, with the former being a lot more random than the latter. Missions will be the first way that most players encounter this particular item, although be prepared to farm a lot to get it. Tier 1 Interception missions are the most reliable and easily accessible option for low-level players. These missions are regarded as annoying by some players, as you need to capture and control the majority of four relay points for the majority of a round to complete the mission, it’s very tedious sometimes.

Tier 4 and Tier 6 Circuit missions are another option, but have an even lower drop chance. At best, you’re looking at a less than 3% chance for the item to drop from missions, not that great.

But it’s not just certain missions that can drop this mod, there are a few other more targeted ways to farm for it. The other method to earn Natural Talent in Warframe includes taking down challenging bosses. You can defeat LeekterShik Tal, and Vem Tabook and get a shot at the mod that’s much higher than mission rewards. Though you should keep in mind that these bosses are no pushovers, and won’t be very easy to take down if you’re unprepared. Check below for the breakdown from the wiki of how each boss drops the mods you’re after. Expect to have to kill any chosen boss a few times to get the mod.

Enemy Drop Tables

Enemy Drop Table Chance Item Chance Chance Expected Kills Quantity Avg. per roll attempt
Leekter 50% 20% 10% 10 1 0.1
Shik Tal 50% 20% 10% 10 1 0.1
Vem Tabook 25% 20% 5% 20 1 0.05

Once you finally get it, it’s time to slot the mod in. To equip Natural Talent Mod, go into the Orbiter and head to the Arsenal with the Warframe equipped you wish to use the item on. Change the Loadout of your warframe and put the mod into an open slot. If you can, be sure to optimize for polarity and reduce your overall energy usage a bit.
