How to raise your banner and capture TIE Fighter crash sites in Fortnite

Where To Raise Your Banner At A TIE Fighter Crash Site in Fortnite

As is the usual shtick in Fortnite, there’s a bunch of themed content coinciding with some major release of a game or film. And along with it, comes a whole new stable of in-game events and challenges. Completing these earns the lucky player various cosmetic rewards and other goodies. For example, First Order Back Bling, and the Jedi Training emote are up for grabs. The First Order has invaded Fortnite, so it’s your job to take them down. You’re going to do this by completing challenges obviously.

One of the challenges is to raise your Banner at a TIE Fighter crash site. You only need to raise your banner at one of the sites to complete the challenge. There’s also a challenge for taking out a First Order Stormtrooper with a Lightsaber, which you can complete while taking care of this challenge too.

The best way to approach this challenge is to land a good bit away from the site, then approach in a somewhat stealthy manner. You can of course roll up guns blazing if you wish, although the area is teeming with First Order Stormtroopers. One plus side to going in and taking out all of the First Order Stormtroopers is that they will drop the new First Order Blaster for you to grab. This is also part of another challenge, so players can easily wrap up three of them in one with proper planning.

Here are the general locations of each of the TIE crash sites:

  • South of Steamy Stacks
  • North of Retail Row
  • South of Slurpy Swamp
  • South-west of Sweaty Sands
  • East of Salty Springs

Look for the plumes of smoke rising into the air in these areas, you will find the TIEs nearby.
