How to get Synthcord in Destiny 2

Corrupted Key Codes in Destiny 2 are part of the ongoing storyline in Destiny 2’s Season of the Splicer. The storyline now revolves around ongoing conflict surrounding the Last City. A plague of some sort has befallen the area, and it’s up to Guardians to stop it. Fight back against the new infliction by finding and decrypting Corrupted Key Codes. These new resources can be farmed, here’s where to get them.

How to get Corrupted Key Codes in Destiny 2

You can complete pretty much any PvE activity in the game to get them. Override, Nightfalls, or Strikes all drop them, although the drop rate is pretty bad. You will have to do a lot of farming by killing enemies to get them. So just keep at it though, as you will eventually get some. These are pretty hard to get, but just keep at it.

Keep in mind that you won’t get them until you finish the Path of the Splicer VI quest and activate the Corrupted Access for Splicer Gauntlet. Finally, it doesn’t appear to be possible to boost the drop rate yet.

Once you have them, you also need to make sure you have a few other things lined up. These codes are used to unlock the new Corrupted Conflux Chests in Expunge modes, so you need to have them ready to go before doing any Expunge. And yes, there is a small chance to have a code drop during an Expunge run. And provided you have the right stuff on hand, you can get a chest at the end of that run.

When you take out the boss, you can use the code on the chest at the end to get boosted rewards. Corrupted Conflux Chests can drop a wide array of rewards, so it’s well worth it.

Visit the H.E.L.M and interact with the Servitor, who offers upgrades that you can buy for up to 500 Decrypted Data. These will allow for various upgrades that affect your gameplay. You can even improve the rewards a little bit. So get out there and get farming.
