A new patch for the latest and greatest racing sim is about to drop. Gran Turismo 7 Patch 1.19 is being prepped for the track, and that means the hype train is running. Gran Turismo 7’s latest trailer has finally confirmed the new cars are on the way, and fans are excited. The update is expected to release today at 11 PM pacific time, so ready your tires for the road. But it’s not just cars heading into the game with this update. Let’s find out what’s coming.
The garages of GT7 are pretty stuffed, but missing a bunch of classic makes and models. This has led to fans pining for more additions to the roster. There are a lot of iconic brands that could use more cars in the game. Gran Turismo 7 Patch 1.19 aims to fix some of that. The latest cars that will be added to the game include the 1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder, 1984 Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5, and 2013 Porsche 918 Spyder.
So while the number of cars is pretty meager, there’s not a lot to complain about, However, Patch 1.19 is still a free update, so it’s a good thing nonetheless.
Along with that hopefully comes other things players have been asking for, namely new tracks. But as of now, details about that haven’t been revealed. There’s also been no news about the other gameplay features that players have criticized.
There are a few other things being added that we know about. The patch is increasing the depth and variety of the world as well. There will also be some new elements added to other various modes, adding new locations and models to the game world. These include Japan’s “Shikoku” Region and “Tomica Town”, a Tokyo-based location that’s famous for its scale models and toy cars.
