How to get The Stone of Jordan in Diablo 2: Resurrected

Make Chains of Honor in Diablo 2: Resurrected

There are many powerful items and skills in D2R. Some of them have very specific uses. And once you’ve finished your build, you might want to try farming for that ultimate item. There’s a concept called Magic Find that’s incredibly useful for this. And using this, you can get mountains of rare gear. Some of the best items in the game take way too long to farm normally.  One of these is the ultra-rare Stone of Jordan.

What is the Stone of Jordan in Diablo 2: Resurrected?

The Stone of Jordan is a very special Ring in the game that offers a major buff to spellcasters. The Stone of Jordan, often called an “SOJ” is one of the best unique rings in Diablo 2 Resurrected, and it’s something many players chase for a lot of builds.

Best bosses to farm for SOJ

Every boss in D2R has a certain loot table. And the rarest items have a very small chance of dropping. Without any help, the odds are so low that it may take thousands of boss kills to get the item you want. This is where items like Chains of Honor may come in handy. Having a full party of MF characters can massively improve the odds of getting rare drops.

Nightmare Andariel

Nightmare Andariel is the best boss to farm, hands down. The odds of getting the ring without any Magic Find boosts or party size increases is 1 in 7,699.  There’s a quest that cuts the odds down to 1 in 3,279. The best way to farm for SOJ is to use a full party of 8 players, all running some level of Magic Find. You can drop the base odds all the way down to 1 in 2,676 by doing this. The quest odds are much better though, at 1 in 873.

Normal Diablo

Normal Diablo is a much easier boss to kill, so some players choose to aim for that boss instead. The best way to farm for SOJ from Normal Diablo is to use a full party of 8 players, all running some level of Magic Find. You can drop the base odds all the way down to 1 in 3,497 by doing this. The default odds are much worse at 1 in 9,083

Other bosses can drop the ring, but have much worse odds. For example, there’s Hell Duriel. Not only is he much harder to reach, his loot is garbage in comparison to the others. The odds for a Stone of Jordan dropping from Hell Duriel are 1 in 11,557.
