Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

The buildup to the Shadowbringers expansion to Final Fantasy XIV has been insanely hyped for fans of the MMO. With the amount of content planned for being released with the new version, players have plenty of reasons to be excited. A big part of this plan is the introduction of a bunch of new content. The game is getting an entirely new area for one thing. There’s also the Dancer and Gunbreaker classes which are being added in the expansion.

And now, we’ve got another new trailer showcasing some of the new skills and changes being made to existing Jobs, as well as a bit of a peek at the new Dancer and Gunbreaker Jobs.

Check out the new trailer for the popular MMO down below. Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers will go live on July 2, 2019.

With the launch of this expansion, players are getting a lot more than just new job actions and the like. The biggest new tweaks come with the FATE systems and the Quests for different Roles and such. the coverage of the FATE level scaling has been expanded. Much more of the Side Quest content is now integrated with the level scaling system.

Combat and Job actions are also getting a pretty major change with the Charged Action System being brought in. The new Charged Action System will allow abilities to build up charges that can then be discharged to deliver more powerful effects. This is also being integrated with a new interrupt system that will make it preferable to interrupt casting than avoiding or tanking. MP is also getting a hard cap, and TP is being phased out entirely.

UI adjustments are on the table as well. The UI will be made more clear in terms of expressing damage and statuses, as well as being expanded in size. Party list information will also be improved, and a placement preview will be added to housing.
