Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker is almost here. The new expansion drops in a few days, adding two new job classes, a ton of new quests, and so much more. The two new jobs added in the expansion, Reaper and Sage, are hotly anticipated. Players are getting a rework of a ton of endgame content, and they’re excited to hunt for new gear.
To get the new job classes, either Reaper or Sage, players must have at least one Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic Job Class leveled to 70. That, and you must also own the expansion itself.
The Sage Job releases alongside the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker expansion, and is available to anyone who purchased the new content. The Sage is a new magic-based job class that offers players the ability to use magic to deal damage at range, complementing the likes of the Black Mage.
FFXIV Endwalker How to Unlock the Sage Job Class
You need to visit a new NPC in a certain spot to unlock the class. You’ll need to make your way over to La Noscea and head to the Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks. Head to the coordinates X:9.4, Y:12.9 and speak with a Sharlayan Maidan to get the job class items you need.
When you complete the quest, you gain access to the Sage Job Class and all the different new attacks and spells. You will need to activate the Sage Soul Crystal to swap to the job.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access will begin on December 3, 2021.
