FFXIV Endwalker How to Unlock the Reaper Job Class

Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker is almost here. The new expansion drops in a few days, adding two new job classes, a ton of new quests, and so much more. The two new jobs added in the expansion, Reaper and Sage, are hotly anticipated. Players are getting a rework of a ton of endgame content, and their excited to hunt for new gear.

To get the new job classes, either Reaper or Sage, players must have at least one Disciple of War or Disciple of Magic Job Class leveled to 70. That, and you must also own the expansion itself.

The Reaper Job releases alongside the Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker expansion, and is available to anyone who purchased the new content. The Reaper is a new DPS Job Class that uses a giant scythe to slash down foes. It also harnesses the dark power of the Void to summon supporting beasts to attack enemies.

You need to visit a new NPC in Uldah to unlock the class. The Reaper Job Class can be found at the Flustered Attendant who introduces this section of the MSQ.

The Flustered Attendant can be found at X:12.8, Y:8.6. Use the Ul’dah – Steps of Nald Aetheryte to get there faster. The quest will be titled “The Killer Instinct.” You need to complete this quest to gain access to the Reaper Job Class, and the associated mechanics. Once it’s unlocked, you can swap between it and other jobs at any time. Go there and complete his quest to get the necessary Soul Crystal.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access will begin on December 3, 2021.
