Bandai Namco and developer Larian Studios have announced console ports for Divinity: Original Sin II.
The robust CRPG will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in both North America and Europe sometime this August. Content updates and extra features for the console version of Divinity: Original Sin 2 are promised in the months following release.
“This is an incredible opportunity for us to work with Larian Studios who has already shown its talented work through the previous games,” said Hervé Hoerdt, vice president of marketing and digital at Bandai Namco Europe. “We are extremely pleased to bring this outstanding title to our lineup by offering new epic adventures to console gamers with the deepest RPG worlds ever created”
Divinity: Original Sin II is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. The sequel to 2014’s Divinity: Original Sin, it was released for Microsoft Windows in September 2017 after a $2 million Kickstarter campaign. The game is an expansive and creative experiment in how to craft an RPG, and it includes an incredibly deep adventure systems that allows game hosts to create a full adventure within Divinity: Original Sin II.
