Destiny 2 is firing on all cylinders. The fifth expansion for the game, Destiny 2 Beyond Light is coming soon. Players will get to face down their old friends the Darkness once again, and it looks like they will be much more menacing this time. Destiny 2 Beyond Light has a new trailer showing off the story and some other teasers for new content.
And yes, there’s a lot more than a new story coming from Bungie this time around. Bungie has described the new expansion as “the beginning of a new era for the Destiny franchise,” and it’s getting a ton of new stuff to fool around with. There are new quests, challenges, rewards, and more coming soon.
Players who have been around a while get new Exotics and other weapons to farm, setting a new high bar for power. They may also notice that some old raids and other content have been removed. Bungie is slimming down the amount of content in the game to make balance much easier. The powerful new items should help make up for the loss of old content, so that should be OK,
Destiny 2 Beyond Light comes out on November 10, 2020 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PC, and Google Stadia.
