After a week of teasing Blizzard finally shared details of the Retribution event during the Overwatch League.
The new event, which is the first phase of the Archives events, will include a new story-driven PvE setup with Reaper, Genji, McCree and Moira. There are plenty of new cosmetic items in both events too, so players will no doubt be excited for that.
As far as what the story entails, here goes:
“Travel eight years into the past and join Blackwatch as they seek to capture a high-ranking member of the Talon organization,” Blizzard explains. “Fight in the streets of Venice as Genji, Moira, McCree, or Reyes (later known as Reaper) to complete the mission and unlock pieces of the past with over 100 items from last year and 60 new ones—including highlight intros, emotes, sprays, and more.”
