Ubisoft just published a brand new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and it has lots of little tidbits for fans to enjoy. Let’s check it out.
Since the game is moving more in the direction of an action-RPG compared to previous franchise titles, there’s a lot more development of both the story and character customization elements within Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. For one, players have the choice to model their character after a variety of sexual orientation choices, and have the story reflect that choice. So if you’ve wanted to be that LGBTQ+ assassin, know is your chance.
The video also breaks down the different skill trees and how players will be able to grow their characters. There’s a lot more of these elements in this game, the long-standing franchise is pushing a lot more adaptability into the different playstylers gamers can run with over the course of the game, allowing for much more player agency within.
The team is also branching that design philosophy into other aspects of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey as well. For example, players have the ability to unlock multiple endings, and even different romance options and related plotlines, depending on their in-game choices. All in all, there’s a lot for fans of franchises like Mass Effect to enjoy in this game.
