With a new season of Fortnite content, there’s tons of new stuff to do. Players are being hunted by Marauders. They unlock secret bunkers by taking out a possible time traveler, and so much more. The storm is getting wilder and players have questions about what to do next. One of the newer additions is a shuffling of XP Coin spawns. So to help you out, here’s a map of all XP Coin locations in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3.
XP Coins in Fortnite have set spawns, so they’re very easy to find. When picked up, they give the player a little burst of bonus XP. These coins are often tied to challenges and other objectives, plus finding them is its own little reward. So it’s worth grabbing them all.
Each Coin has a color attached to it. There are Green XP Coins worth 5,000 XP each. Then there are the much rarer Purple XP Coins. Purple XP Coins will explode and shower you with smaller coins when touched. Collecting all of these smaller Coins grants 10,000 XP. Epic has added Blue Coins in Season 3, particularly in Week 3, that hide inside items. You need to do some searching at the locations marked with blue arrows on the map below to find these Coins.
And here’s the good news, you can collect them more than once. Every couple of weeks or so, each coin set will respawn. This is based on the respawn rate from previous seasons, and Epic could change it, so keep that in mind.
Week 8
Week 8 is here, and the XP Coins are about to get much more complex. Not only are the Blue and Purple XP Coins back again, but there’s also a new layer of complexity with the Gold XP Coins added as well. The inclusion of drivable cars in Fortnite has also added in the need to use both Cars and Choppas to get to some of the Gold Coins.
Week 7
Week 7 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season. With a batch of map changes, new challenges and more to sink our teeth into, Fortnite fans have plenty to do this weekend. The list of coin spawns this week has been reduced, as there are fewer Blue Coins around. Check the map below for each of the new Week 7 XP Coin locations in Fortnite.
Week 6
Week 6 of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 is live. There are new challenges once again, and a new batch of Green, Blue and Purple XP Coins to claim. There were some leaks that suggested Golden XP Coins would be a thing, but those have yet to be found. Check the map below for each of the new Week 6 XP Coin locations in Fortnite.
Week 5
Four greens, five blues, and 2 purples again this week. You will find each of them scattered around the map, check the image and video tutorial below for exact locations. Keep in mind that each one emits a small sound and visual glow when nearby, making them a bit easier to locate. There are spawns all over the place, so be prepared to put in some time hunting the XP Coins in Week 5 down.
Week 4
This week there are 2 Purples, 5 Blues, and 4 Greens to collect. The Purple and Green XP Coins are scattered around the map, but once again the Blue XP Coins are special. The Blue XP Coins will only spawn inside hidden objects. You will see the blue flashing glow and hear and audio cue when you’re nearby, so be on the lookout. Week 3
Below are the marks for each of the XP Coin locations in Fortnite for Week 3 of Chapter 2 Season 3. We will release the full map once it has been checked. The changes to the map thanks to the receding floodwaters make it a little harder to check everything. With the new Blue XP Coins hiding inside items, it’s a bit tougher to find them this week, but here are the approximate locations you need to head for.
