What Are the PC Specs for Halo: Reach?

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Xbox Game Pass

Halo: Reach is finally coming to PC after all this time. Halo: Reach is making its way to the PC through Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The FPS tells the story of Noble Team, a group of Spartan-IIIs who fought against the Covenant forces on the surface of the doomed human colony Reach. The story of the fall of this planet is a huge element within the early Halo lore. The heavily militarized planet fell easily to alien forces, and the whole story is a cautionary tale about the power of the foe humanity faced.

Halo: Reach initially released in 2010, and while it didn’t reach the bottled lightning status of the mainline games, it was still pretty successful. Gamers enjoyed a much more subdued and fatalistic story in the Halo universe. Microsoft and 343 Industries have been hard at work updating the visuals for a new generation. PC gamers are obsessed with visual quality, and the game has gotten quite the upgrade.

And it takes rather simple hardware to get the game running. Even at the higher settings, Halo: Reach will be rather easy to handle for PC gamers.

The minimum requirements to run game are:

  • 20 GB of available space on your hard drive
  • Windows 7 operating system
  • 8 GB of Ram
  • AMD HD 6850 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 graphics card
  • AMD Phenom II X4 960T or an Intel i3550 processor
  • DirectX 11 and Direct3D feature level 11.1
