The holidays have invaded Destiny 2. And it turns out that many NPCs have a sweet tooth. You need to take on an event quest to make holiday treats for many different folks, all across the system. After you have hit up the NPC Eva Levante for your mission in the Tower, you’re kind of left to your own devices. The Dawning 2021 recipes aren’t going to make themselves, so you need to get moving. Here’s some help with finding a particular ingredient.
How to Get Chitin Powder
You need to hunt down the Hive enemy types to get Chitin Powder. A great place to farm Chitin Powder is in strikes that feature this enemy. Hive in Destiny 2 can also be found in Tangled Shore over by the Jetsam of Saturn, or on the Moon in Sorrow’s Harbor. These two spots have plenty of Public events to check out for Hive spawns.
Once you have the Chitin Powder, it’s time to get baking. Head back to the Holiday Oven and craft the recipes you’re after with the Dawning 2021 ingredients you were able to get. Chitin Powder is used in Ascendant Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, Bright Dusted Snowballs and Etheric Coldsnap. You also need Finishing Touch and Electric Flavor for two of those.
