Dragon Quest Builders 2 Coming to PC Next Month

Dragon Quest Builders 2 PC Port

Dragon Quest Builders 2 came out in Japan late last year for the PlayStation 4 and Switch. Since then, the game has appealed to tons of console gamers looking for a unique build-based adventure. And now a whole new crop of gamers will get to enjoy the growing, build and cooking festivities with the incoming launch of a full PC port. The PC port of the game is due to launch on December 10, 2019 via Steam. This will be the first time the franchise has ever debuted on the PC, and the game’s YouTube channel got a special trailer to commemorate the occasion, which can be seen below.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 added a bunch of gameplay improvements that helped the franchise reach a new level of popularity. A large part of the reason for this explosion in notoriety is due to the popularity of the two source genres. The newest game in the franchise took the classic RPG elements of the Dragon Quest series and mix it with building mechanics similar to Minecraft. This fusion of genre elements helped bring two separate fanbases of different genres together. And of course fans of both franchises also loved the game for what it brought to the table. And by including a story-driven singleplayer campaign all about saving the world from a lack of creativity, those same Minecraft fans got sucked into the action too.
