How to unlock fast travel in Forza Horizon 5

Get the DeLorean DMC-12 in Forza Horizon 5

Forza Horizon 5 is a definite evolution of the franchise. By focusing heavily on in-game events, online play and fun, the series is getting its best time in the sun. The improvements made to the game world and the racing have drawn millions of players in.

Using fast travel in Forza Horizon 5 makes it so much easier to get around. There are just way too many things to keep track of at all times on this massive map. Here’s what to do. Be warned, you’re in for a lot of hunting around the roads and tracks of the game world.

In order to unlock fast travel in Forza Horizon 5, you need to explore the map a fair bit. Your goal is to hunt down and crash through Fast Travel Boards. Similar to XP Boards, these billboards can be found all over the map. 50 of these boards exist in the game, and yes, you need to smash them all. That’s a lot of time invested, but it’s worth it. Not only do you unlock a very useful feature, but you learn the layout of the map pretty well.

There is a faster way to get them. You can buy the Treasure Map DLC for the game ($2.99 for the base version of $0.30 with Game Pass) to have all the Bonus Boards and hidden locations marked. You will have to find them manually if you don’t want to spend the cash.

Once it’s unlocked, you can use it to zip around. Just open up the map and hold the cursor over the icon you want to travel to. Press X to jump right to your destination.

You can even get into the Hall of Fame, and prove your driving worth. Getting into the Hall of Fame is not the only thing to do in the game. There will also be many different side and seasonal events you can finish as well. The latest one involves the DeLorean DMC-12. There are plenty of optional things to unlock, and it’s going to take a while. Forza Horizon 5 features some very interesting car designs you can use. You can also buy and sell cars to expand your garage. Players wanting to game online have that option as well, exploring the world with friends. And along with all of that, comes cars, tons of them.
