Zombie Army 4 getting next-gen update

Zombie Army 4 getting next-gen update

Zombie Army 4 will not only be coming soon to Game Pass and PlayStation Plus, but it’s also about to get a next-gen visual update. Rebellion has announced that the zombie shooter will get a visual upgrade on all next-gen platforms over the coming weeks.  Along with that update comes a weekly patch cycle aimed at fixing various problems and issues.

Zombie Army 4 will be getting a nice amount of visual improvements, with the power of the new consoles allowing for much better performance. The game will run at 4K resolution with 60 FPS delivery on both the Series X and PlayStation 5. The Series X also gets a special performance mode with 1080p at 120 FPS capped. The Series S version will aim for 1080p at 60 FPS. All versions will have reduced loading times.

The first of these patches dropped today for the PS5. Another patch is due for the end of the week to enable support for the Xbox update.

These patches will enable players to split zombie heads in new ways, all while getting the full effect of the gore and chaos. Happy hunting in 4K later this week when the patches drop.
