Total War Three Kingdoms reveals PC system requirements

Total War: Three Kingdoms Details Dong Zhuo

SEGA and Creative Assembly have finally revealed the PC system requirements for the next iteration of the Total War strategy game franchise. Total War Three Kingdoms is an amazing looking game for both genre and franchise fans, and it looks like SEGA and Creative Assembly are going for making this game look pretty damn fine.

To that end, the companies have released the full list of system specs and some details about the graphical effects behind the game.

One downside for some gamers with this news is the confirmation from CA that the game will not support SLI or Crossfire setups on launch, and it’s likely they won’t patch in that function anytime soon. Although even with that particular bad news, that doesn’t mean that Total War Three Kingdoms won’t bring in tons of cool rendering tech and related features to the battlefield.

For one thing, the Romance vs.Records gameplay elements look to have extended to the implementation of the graphics and effects. Players can choose between two graphical modes: Romance (rich, vibrant colour saturation) and Records (lighter, more realistic colour saturation).

During both the real-time battles and the beautifully redesigned campaign map, the game will toss many effects onto the screen for gamers to enjoy.

Total War: Three Kingdoms releases on May 23, 2019 for PC.

And if you want to tide yourself over with some of the press coverage for this game, there’s plenty of that going around. There’s a really cool trailer showcasing tyrant Dong Zhuo. There’s also a trailer detailing the subterfuge mechanics in-game. So you could go check those out in the meantime.
