Xenon Racer shows off car customization and more in new trailers

Xenon Racer Gameplay

SOEDESCO is back again with more high-octane racing action in their game, Xenon Racer.

The company that helped bring the wonderful 8-Bit Invaders to market is bringing some speedy and insanely bright action to consoles and PC with their newest game, due later this month. And to build up hype for the new racing title, SOEDESCO has been pumping out highlights trailers and gameplay snippets showing various features for Xenon Racer.

The two newest trailers showcase a fair bit of content about the vehicles, tracks and customization included in the game. Players can take their cars into their garage and swap parts and cosmetic elements, creating entirely new vehicles from top to bottom. The racing game also features plenty of competitive modes for players to test their skills in, as well as experiment to find the best setup for their favorite vehicles. As gamers race from Tokyo to Dubai in this futuristic turboboosted world, they will compete in singleplayer, split-screen & online multiplayer championships.

Speaking of those various gameplay modes, SOEDESCO also showcased four special race types in another trailer. Racing fanatics can zoom across the open game world in free roam. There’s also Time Attack and Checkpoint Attack where groups of players, or AI, race to set the best pace on a given track. And finally, a mode called Elimination adds an extra layer of tension to races as players battle one another to stay in contention or be ruthlessly eliminated.
