Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Week 5 has begun, and it’s chaos. The Daily Bugle has been smashed this time around. In previous weeks, things were a bit less messy around that POI, but it’s all gone now. The storyline is moving on, and players get to help make things right. Daily Rubble is one of the newest landmarks which was created following the IO Blimp crashed into the sea southwest of this named location. This is the same blimp that once flew above The Daily Bugle POI.
Epic Games have finally revealed the Week 5 Resistance Quests, and things are heating up. The new questline this week continues the Resistance storyline, continuing the fight against IO. You need to gather intel and figure out what their plans are, and that’s going to take some work. You need to head out and find a Data Drive from a certain spot on the map, bring a big gun, there’s sure to be competition. Also, keep reading to figure out where to head.
Where to recover a Data Drive in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2
The Daily Rubble POI is once again your destination, just like the other phases of this week’s Resistance quests. Players need to head to these ruins and try to find some lost data drives.
Before you can recover a data drive in Fortnite, you will need to first establish a device uplink near the Daily Rubble. That first step will see you heading to the islands just south of the Daily Rubble, and placing some transmitters in the marked areas.
You need to swim or boat your way over to the crashed blimp that’s just off of those same islands you placed the uplinks at. That’s the IO blimp from previous weeks, and it’s where you’re going to find the Data Drive. There are two to grab from the blimps wreckage. One is near the front, and one is right near the back, just above the waterline. Once near the spot, simply tap the interact button (the square button on the PlayStation controller, X on the Xbox controller) to recover a Data Drive from Daily Rubble in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
Similar to other Resistance Quests, completing the recover a Data Drive from Daily Rubble quest will reward you with 23,000 in-game XP, and get you that much closer to finishing the Battle Pass.
