Total War: Warhammer 2 has released a pair of trailers to show off more aspects of the game. Namely, more details for the Skaven faction, and a faction specific unit called the Hell Pit Abomination.
But first, lets talk about the Skaven themselves, or at least the hilarious Skaven narrator in the Riff trailer. The trailer shows off some impressive CG detailing a skirmish between Elf and Chaos forces over an ancient ritual site. It comes off a bit like MST3K, and I like it.
This trailer is the penultimate reward in the riddle challenge Ritual. If you want to go to the trouble of solving this riddle yourself, the latest clue is here. The Ritual page itself can be found here. Putting in the correct word will give you a code, which can be redeemed via the Total War access hub. Or you can just watch the video below.
The Hell Pit Abomination is the byproduct of heavy experimentation by the Skaven in their attempts to create a sort of superweapon. The trailer showcases a variety of concept art pieces for various other Skaven experiments as well. And judging by the short bit of actual CG, the Abomination may have some kind of AoE slam ability in combat.
