The next Tomb Raider game has appeared ahead of schedule thanks to some leaked store pages and other sources. We now know that the next game, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, will focus heavily on Mayan culture and be set in South America.
But wait, there’s more, according to a preview in French gaming publication JeuxVideo, the story will see the return of Sam, Reyes and Jonah, who appeared in the rebooted first game as well as Rise of the Tomb Raider.
No release date has been confirmed yet, although we do know that game will appear on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 14th of this year. We also got a peek at some of the goodies that will be contained in the various limited editions that will be available. There will be standard, deluxe and collector’s editions, and there’s also the Croft Edition (both digital and physical).
The screenshots, all of which can be seen below, first appeared on Amazon before getting pulled. Not before Wario64 and folks on ResetERA saved a few backups, though.

The game looks incredible judging just from these early screens. Definitely one to keep your eye on folks.
