Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Mini console has been consistently teased for months now. Throughout the press cycle for the miniature console, the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis Mini has slowly been getting more appealing for retro gaming enthusiasts as the games on the platform just keep getting better.
Each block of 10 or so newly confirmed titles have built the nostalgia to such a pitch that this is now a definite pickup for many fans looking for a retro experience without the hassles of emulation. And for just $80, it’s not a half bad deal for those looking to recapture some of their nostalgia.
We now have the full listing for all 42 games that will be made available for the platform. The newest additions include classics and sequels galore, sure to please fans of multiple genres. There’s Road Rash 2 and Virtua Fighter 2, some great games to play with friends. One of my personal favorites from that console generation, Eternal Champions, is also on the list of newly announced retro titles. Of course that still leaves dozens of other great classics like Altered Beast and the Sonic the Hedgehog games as worthy additions. Of course, the announcement of both Tetris and Tetris Columns offer a good mix of genres for fans of the legendary puzzle title.
