PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Season 4 teased with new cinematic trailer

PUBG

The full launch of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Season 4 content kicks off later this month, on July 24th. The update not only introduces a bunch of new content, but some welcome changes as well. Since the patch dropped onto the PC test servers, players have been digging through it, and finding lots of goodies.

The biggest change comes to the battle-torn Erangel map. This place is littered with gun emplacements,  abandoned tanks and artillery, trenches, camo positions and so much more now. PUBG Corp is also reducing the grass density, color saturation and overall brightness. Buildings within the play area have been given a bit of polish, making them more battle-worn.

Some more minor improvements include the introduction of new vehicle audio, as well as the first batch of vehicle skins for the game. Vehicles were actually a pretty major focus for this patch, with balance pass being made alongside a bunch of tweaks to weapons. One of the improvements is the ability to “lock” vehicles so only members of your team can enter them, which is great for cooperative coordination. Handling of some of the heavier cars in PUBG has also been given some attention.

Check out the newest trailer for the 3rd person shooter down below. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is out now on PC, Xbox One and mobile devices.

The developer also previously teased Season 4 content with a different, more gameplay-focused trailer, check that out too.
