Warner Bros. has released a cinematic trailer for the upcoming Middle-Earth: Shadow of War – Desolation of Mordor DLC.
In this new DLC, forces are gathering to take the fight to evil itself. The stars of the new trailer are brothers Baranor and Serka, who lead the attack on the Marauder fortress of Shindrâm. They’re going to need to build an army and lead a massive campaign to take on some brand new enemies.

“The new video spotlights Baranor, the Captain of Minas Ithil, who has escaped the fallen city’s demise and is now reunited with his lost brother, Serka. Together, the two warriors must hire an army of human mercenaries to combat a new Orc threat to the East, endure the harsh desert region of Lithlad and ultimately conquer the imposing Marauder fortress of Shindrâm.”

The DLC is the last big hoorah before those freaking loot boxes finally die for good in July. Let’s just hope the publisher manages not to screw things up again. But Warner Bros. is basically Jurassic Park at this point. Life finds a way, to be terrible and greedy.
Desolation of Mordor will arrive next Tuesday, May 8th for all available platforms. Owners of the expansion pass get access for free, as one would expect.
