Metro Exodus will include an Epic key in physical versions

Metro Exodus Gameplay

Deep Silver just announced that their upcoming title, Metro Exodus, would be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. An announcement that made so many gamers angry that the other games in the Metro franchise were review-bombed on Steam. So after all of this, it seems that Deep Silver is trying to claw back some public favor, as they’re including free copies of the digital version with physical versions of Metro Exodus.

And yes, just to reiterate, Steam pre-orders will still be honored, even though Epic and Deep Silver have inked a one year deal for exclusivity.

4A Games confirmed the news when asked via Twitter earlier today, check out the Tweet down below:

But that’s not all the news for the game that has come out. There’s plenty of other coverage for the game out there too. Deep Silver and 4A Games have released the full PC requirements for Metro Exodus. The developers also released a documentary series promoting the game. The company also introduced another weapons spotlight, this time for handguns, earlier today.

In terms of gameplay, there’s a gameplay trailer from Gamescom which offers another glimpse into the world of Metro Exodus. So you should look into that if you want to know more about the game and it’s depressing world. We also found out that the game is getting a photo mode on launch as well.

Metro Exodus will release on February 15 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
