4A Games and Deepsilver have released a new bit of gameplay for Metro Exodus. This latest bunch of post-apocalyptic goodness came during the recent Nvidia GeForce Gaming Celebration, ahead of Gamescom 2018. Which if you happen to be on the show floor
Now you might be wondering why this announcement was dropped during an Nvidia conference. Well that’s because the team behind Metro Exodus is partnering with the company to implement real-time ray tracing, artificial intelligence, and programmable shading features into their game, courtesy of the new line of RTX features built into the newest line of RTX 2080 GPUs.
As for the trailer itself, it starts off nice and idyllic, but quickly descends into a very mutant-infested hell, as one would expect from the Metro games. As Artyom and co. search for a new home outside the dank tunnels, they’ll encounter increasingly nasty and hostile enemies, human and mutant alike. And if the trailers we’ve seen so far are any indication, it’s going to be a bumpy ride right into the jaws of despair.
