The Agent Jones quests have been getting a new lease on life this season in Fortnite. Agent Jones has been trying to figure out what’s been happening, but they need your help. There’s another strange occurrence on the map that the agent is tracking. You will need to head to a specific spot on the map and check it out to complete this latest quest. Here’s how to investigate the Anomaly in Weeping Woods in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6.
You need to head to the Guardian Tower in Weeping Woods. That’s the big spire in that southern area of the map. It’s the only one that sits in that area right by the river. You will know you’re in the right spot when you see the foliage change. Be careful and try to avoid the Guardian patrolling the area as they’re quite dangerous. These aren’t enemies you should tangle with unless you’re well-armed, so be careful.
Head to the north side of the tower and look for the small hut nearby. There will be a small purple glowing orb floating around. Walk up the ramp and toward the anomaly to begin. When you walk towards the anomaly it will start to move, traveling up the tower. As you move closer, the anomaly will float away from you. Build up towards it and chase it down. A set of stairs or two should deal with it. If you don’t have enough resources, head to the very top room of the tower and break open the chests there for some extra bits.
When you reach the top, the anomaly will turn into a crystal you can interact with. Although the trouble is you will have to build out to it with a few ramps as it will be floating away from the tower. Get to it and interact with it to wrap up this challenge.
