Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of options to fool around with. Being a customization-heavy TTRPG video game, there are a ton of things you can tweak. The clothes in Baldur’s Gate 3 is just one of many options you have to mess with. This page will take you through the necessary steps to hiding your clothes in BG3, as well as some related options you can tweak.
There are many players that are heavily invested in the role-playing element of these games, and that means the romance-related content is pretty important to some. Along with all the romance options, there’s a mountain of potential options that allow you to get a very specific experience within the game.
If you’re the kind of gamer that uses a certain kinds of explicit mods in your RPGs, this might be the guide for you. It doesn’t always have to be an explicit motivation though. Sometimes you can get some really ugly-looking armor, and despite it’s good stats, you don’t want to see it. This allows you to hide your armor without the use of a transmog system. Either way, there are plenty of options to use for these situations.
How to Hide Clothes in Baldur’s Gate 3
The various customization options can be used to alter how your party members and MC appear in cutscenes. You can actually choose between showing up in full armor all the time, having casual attire, and even full nudity. The armor you slot into the relevant sections of your inventory applies at different times. Camp armor is used in cutscenes, and Default is used in combat.
With that said you can still choose between wearing Camp or Default Armor by opening up your inventory menu and selecting the small icon which is located above the t-shirt icon.
How to Turn Nudity On or Off in BG3
The developers know their target audience. So rather than messing with suspect mods and potentially having crashing issues, they baked nudity right into Baldur’s Gate 3, in a way. You can change the relevant setting at any time, right from the main menu or the pause screen.
Go into Options and choose Gameplay from the various tabs. Here, you can hide clothes and turn on various options that improve the “experience”.
Show Genitals and Show Cinematic Nudity can both be turned on here. They are off by default, so Twitch streamers and the like need not worry. Share Private Moments is another option in BG3 you can turn on. This is specifically for cooperative play. With this setting turned on, players in your cooperative game will all see the romance scenes as you’ve configured them. Be sure to ask your other players if they’re comfortable with this before toggling this on.
