How to get the Seaside Cottage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is a very unique little game. There are all these cute little townsfolk with tons of stuff to do. And for a simple little Switch game, it’s really fun. With all of this stuff to do, there’s also a bunch of hidden secrets to unlock as well. With that said, here’s what you need to do to get the Seaside Cottage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

How to get the Seaside Cottage

To unlock the Seaside Cottage, you will first need to find the Harvest Goddess. To do this and get the Harvest Goddess to appear, you need to head over to the river that runs past the Spring Mine. Head to the lower left corner of the map and you will find a small waterfall there, toss in an item. Depending on the item you throw into the water, usually a flower, the Harvest Goddess will appear. Once you do this and she appears, talk to her. She will thank you and grant you a reward.

Unlocking the cottage may require multiple gifts. So repeat this process during each day, for roughly 4-5 seasons, and the Harvest Goddess should give you what you seek. This should unlock the Seaside Cottage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town. She will also hand you a variety of other rewards based on how many gifts you give her. To get the cottage, you need to give her around 150 gifts. Do you see why something easy to get like flowers is useful now?

Once you have done this, the Seaside Cottage should spawn on the map and be unlocked. Head over to the Seaside Cottage in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town.

The Seaside Cottage is a very basic dwelling. Lacking a kitchen and the ability to move in and improve it, it really is just a cosmetic place to crash for the night. The one good thing about it is that you can spend all day fishing at the beach, and with your last bit of energy, just head for the bed before you crash.
