Genshin Impact 1.6 is here, brining with it tons of new content. With the advent of the new Waverider, players can now travel to new zones. Many of these zones have new quests within as well. And these new quests have some currency you need to collect: Shiny Flotsam and Mini “Harpastum.” Shiny Flotsam can be traded for special items and rewards, and it looks nice too.

The community has created an online interactive map that lists all the spawn locations for all the different items, Geoculus locations, Statues of the Seven, and much more.
How to collect Shiny Flotsam in Genshin Impact
To collect Shiny Flotsam in Genshin Impact, enter the Golden Apple Archipelago zone. This new zone is the new destination in Genshin Impact 1.6. The best way to get there is to use the event icons and go to them. These event icons lead you to a bunch of new quests, including one to collect Shiny Flotsam from the hilichurls in this area.
When you come in on the ship, you can fire your ship cannons, so make use of that. Blast down any structures you can see from the water to speed this farming up. Once you blow up the towers the monsters dwell in, you can then draw them out and engage them directly. The monsters can be taken down once the towers are destroyed.
When you head into the new zone, check out the area for the enemies marked as hilichurls. You will need to destroy the floating towers and eliminate all of the hilichurls in the given area to get a 200 Shiny Flotsam reward. This is part of the ongoing event quests that are in the game. You will need 2000 Shiny Flotsam in all to complete all the quests.
