Doom and Rage now on Xbox Game Pass

Rage and DOOM headed to Xbox Game Pass

The 2016 FPS hit DOOM and the original wasteland action game Rage are now on Xbox Game Pass. The announcement was made as part of QuakeCon 2018 this past week. Publisher id Software clearly timed the release with other news about newer games.

2011’s Rage is a first-person shooter set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. The upcoming Rage 2 is set for 2019 release.

An Xbox Game Pass costs $9.99 monthly and gives users new games to play each month. There are dozens of Xbox 360 and Xbox One games on the service – including these new additions Rage and DOOM – and you can play them all right now. Titles like DIRT 4 and Fallout 3 are on the service as well. So there’s plenty of reasons for console owners to at least give it a shot.

If you’re not into paying for a monthly sub but still want to check out these games, their PC versions are both on sale on various platforms. Check here to find the best deal on either DOOM or Rage, of course you can use it to check for any other PC game too.
