Hello Neighbor 2 is almost here. The game is the follow-up to the 2017 original stealth-action title, and brings a just as menacing tone. Publisher tinyBuild Games has announced that the game is coming this year, on December 6.
The biggest change this time around is that you’re getting a much larger map and tons of new characters. Instead of just the backyard of a single home, there’s a lot more to explore. The entire town of Raven Brooks is now open to be messed around in. Players will explore the spooky environs, solving puzzles and dodging the titular Neighbor. But it’s not just that scary foe, there’s more threats this time as well. New AI-controlled foes will be helping out the Neighbor in hunting the players.
To help hype up the game, Hello Neighbor 2 got some preview footage. We actually got two trailers for the hype-building period of the game. The second of the two covers the upcoming testing periods for the game, as well as new features. Those who pre-order the game as of now can play a spoiler-free ‘Encapsulated’ experience, helping to test things out.
Both hype up the pre-orders coming for the game. Those that buy-in will get their own copy of the game, and beta access before launch. But the sweetness of the deal comes in when you get early access to the DLC packages for the game. The players that pre-order get three new DLC available at launch and five days of early access to the game prior to its full release later this year.
There’s also a Deluxe Edition that has extra bonuses in the form of art assets and other goodies. Both standard and Deluxe Edition versions will grant you beta access.
Hello Neighbor 2 arrives on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC on December 6, 2022. Check out the two new trailers down below.
