Players can increase the level of skills on their team members much like other Ascension mechanics. Each character uses rarer materials as they get stronger. One of the rarest is the Hellfire Butterfly. Hellfire Butterfly in Genshin Impact is a pretty rare material used in Genshin Impact to level up certain talents. Here’s how to get it.
Where to get Hellfire Butterfly in Genshin Impact
There are a couple of ways you can get your hands on this high-level material. If you manage to get conversion materials, you can use Alchemy to make the level-up items you need. Trouble is, there’s only one known source for this item. Luckily, you can repeat it and try to get a bit more of this powerful material. You can farm this method a few times per week, so get to it.
If you’re looking for a fight, there’s a high-end area you can farm to get this and other rare drops. Narukami Island: Tenshukaku is the only known place in the game you can head to farm the Hellfire Butterfly. This level 70+ area is not for beginners though. You will need to be on your toes as this area contains many powerful enemies.
Narukami Island: Tenshukaku is a Trounce Domain unlocked after completing Archon Quest Chapter II, Act III: Omnipresence Over Mortals. You need to complete these quests to unlock the Trounce Domain instance, and then spend Original Resin to get the loot. Getting the rewards will cost 30 Original Resin for the first 3 weekly boss fights, then 60 Original Resin for each fight after that.
By completing this trial, you can earn the Hellfire Butterfly, but you may also get the Molten Moment and Ashen Heart. These two materials can be combined individually with Dream Solvent to create 1x Hellfire Butterfly.
