How to change and use emotes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Guides

Emotes are very a very common mechanic for showing off in games. Going back to the oldest MMOs, they were a very common way to communicate in-game. Before chats and out-of-game options became commonplace, these weird little animations took on a life of their own. Players evolved very unique ways of using them to communicate, so they had to get increasingly complex. As you explore the game world, you’re sure to uncover some of these little visual flairs.

This game uses emotes to both show-off, and to facilitate communication between players. And with the photo mode in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, they have a bit more utility there as well. When you first enter the town of Brighthoof during the tutorial, you will be introduced to various systems. You will learn how to use and change emotes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands,  so pay attention.  Keep reading to learn more.

How to change your emotes

When you land in Brighthoof, you will be introduced to the aspects of player and class customization. You will be given some basic starter missions to help you learn the ropes, including helping to clear bandits from the area. Afterward, you will need to perform another mission to get the Sword of Souls to actually clear the debris from the chaotic ruins. Do these tasks to progress.

When the town returns to normal, head over to Izzy’s bar and talk to Izzy. This part will direct you to the terminal where you can change aspects of your character. The quick-change station will allow you to set new emotes on your quick-access wheel. Choose the emotes you want and set them here.

Using your emotes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is as simple as holding down the options/start button on Playstation and Xbox controllers. This will bring up a menu that has your equipped emotes on it.
