Fortnite adds Heavy AR, NFL crossover, in patch 6.22

Fortnite Season 6 Battle Pass

Epic Games has pushed out the next patch for Fortnite Battle Royale

The Halloween Fortnitemares content has also been ported over to the Save the World mode in order to continue as yet another option for player customization. This second phase of the event adds two new heroes and new weapons like the Candy Corn LMG.

Another new weapon is being added to the base game as well. The new Heavy AR, styled after the classic AK-47 Assault Rifle, is being added to Fortnite. With a high rate of fire and good stopping power, this will be a very useful rifle at mid-range.

In terms of other new content, Epic has collaborated with the NFL to recreate skins for all 32 pro American Football teams. Check out a trailer hyping these new options down below. These new outfits launch November 9 at 7.00pm ET.

There’s also a new limited-time mode called Team Terror along with Fortnite‘s 6.22 patch. With this new mode, a series of nasty monsters have exploded out from that mysterious cube and invaded the map. The mode pits two teams of 32 players in a battle for supremacy, but don’t think this will be as easy as shooting the other team. Cube Monsters will spawn every time the circle moves, so you better be ready. Resource spawns have been increased to allow players to build much more complex structures, so get creative if you want your team to come out on top.
