Ubisoft are creeping ever closer to Far Cry 5 and all of its cultish insanity. This week we got a whole load of new details about various aspects of the game, in addition to a new story trailer.
First up, we’ve got the deets on the DLC Season Pass for Far Cry 5. The Season Pass will come with three slices of new content set in three distinct locations. First up is a Vietnam scenario fighting the Viet Cong. Next is Dead Living Zombies where players will tackle zombie hordes in B-movie scenarios, and finally, there’s Lost on Mars where players will find themselves battling arachnids on Mars. While these addons aren’t exactly original or ground-breaking, they’re still some interest out there I guess.
A much better bonus than tired game modes is that those who purchase the Season Pass will get Far Cry 3 Classic Edition and PC players will receive a full version of Far Cry 3 with a Season Pass or gold edition of Far Cry 5.
DLC news isn’t the only thing for Far Cry 5 this week either, Ubisoft released a pair of trailers, one story trailer that introduce some characters and locales from the game, the other talks up the Far Cry 3 Classic Edition.
