Check out the spoiler-heavy final trailer for Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry 5 Final Trailer

The launch of Devil May Cry 5 is just around the corner, so that means Capcom wants to squeeze out a little bit more hype ahead of the dropping of their newest high-profile action game. To that end, the company has released a new trailer to get the blood pumping in fan’s veins.

The big draw with this one final trailer is that it directly sets up the story of the new game in a few different ways. Devil May Cry 5 tells the story of Nero, Dante , V and crew as they hunt demons and deal with a ton of personal drama. Set years after the events of DMC 4, this game needs a bit of setup before new players can just jump in. And if you’re a hardcore fan, even you might need some quick refreshment.

The trailer also shows some of that beloved high-energy combat that the franchise is known for. Dante and the crew are up against some tough odds in this little segment, and even Dante’s Devil Trigger, which looks really cool by the way, may not be enough to get these folks out of this jam.

I won’t spoil anything, just go down below and watch the trailer. It’s very much a Hollywood-style trailer, evoking themes of blockbuster films, so it’s enjoyable to see.

Check out this one last trailer for the game ahead of the full launch. Said launch will occur for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 8th. A Deluxe Edition is available alongside the basic version of the game. Those who pick it up will get four additional Devil Breakers for Nero. If you’re planning to grab it on PC, go check out the system requirements.

If you want to get a deeper look at the game, there’s plenty of gameplay footage of Devil May Cry 5 out there.

One final note for those of you thinking about grabbing this, there’s not much DLC planned. So you should take that into account when making your purchase decision.
