7 Days to Die Guides

The crafting menu in 7 Days to Die is your most important thing. This menu contains all the items you can make, from ammunition to guns, to vehicles. But to make most of these items, you need to get your hands on part and components. The zombie apocalypse is filled with loot, you just have to find it. One of the more important items is called Mechanical Parts.

What Are Mechanical Parts?

Mechanical parts are one of the crafting items available in 7 Days to Die. They are often used for various crafting recipes. Most notably they are tied to car parts and other mechanical items. If it has a motor, it probably uses these parts. They are incredibly important for many items, especially when you start trying to build bikes and cars. And thanks to the long distances players have to travel for resources, that’s often a priority.

The best way to get mechanical parts is to use a tool of some kind. You will need to salvage Mechanical Parts in 7 Days to Die from a few places. But before you can do that, you need something like a Wrench. To find a wrench, search sinks inside houses and apartments. Once you have found a wrench, go to town, breaking down anything you see.

Mechanical Parts can be found by left-clicking with a Wrench on Air Conditioners, Gas Stations, Office Chairs, File Cabinets, Reinforced Drawbridges, Shopping Carts, Gas Pumps, Ovens, Sedans, Safes, and Metal Doors. There are these kinds of items all over the map, so you shouldn’t have trouble finding them.
