Destiny 2 update 2.0.5 lands, changes Exotic drops

Destiny 2 123 update for July 2018

Bungie has deployed the 2.0.5 update to Destiny 2, and players seem pretty happy about the changes. Why are players happy about an incremental patch? Well that’s because Bungie has introduced a new system that weights Exotic drops for players in favor of Exotics they don’t yet possess. These changes translate to players getting new gear more often, making their farming of high-end loot more worthwhile.

The update also includes a variety of buffs to different weapons. The patch also changed Gambit Mode. Post-patch, Gambit Mode has been tweaked so that the Sleeper Simulant gains less ammo from Heavy ammo drops, while Swords acquire more.

In other news, Destiny 2‘s Halloween-themed Festival of the Lost event is now live, and it features a full-on murder mystery for players to have fun with.
