Creative Assembly teases unannounced first-person shooter IP

Steam Gaming Service

Creative Assembly, most well-known for the Total War franchise along with Sega, is apparently working on an entirely new game. The unknown IP was teased via a Tweet, which can be seen below. This project has apparently been in the works for a while judging from job listings spotted last year on the CA website.

The listings (spotted by VG247) call for a Senior UI Artist and a Lead Environment Artist on the studio’s console teams, to work on a ‘brand-new and exciting First Person Tactical Shooter IP’ with specific reference to the Alien Isolation team who worked on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC first person horror.

It’s impossible to say what this new IP or game is, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wishing and speculating. Fans have been harping for a sequel to the excellent Alien Isolation for a while now, so maybe we’re looking at a spinoff title, although the mention of an entirely new IP shot a few holes in that theory.

Nothing else in regard to details has been revealed about the FPS other than that it will be a tactical shooter. The game has no title, release date, platforms or other details at this time. We’ll let you fine folks know if we find anything.
