Check out the first gameplay of the Destroy All Humans! Remake

Destroy All Humans! Remake Announced by THQ Nordic

The upcoming remake of Destroy All Humans! has the internet buzzing. Those who remember the original game are in for a treat when this new version drops in 2020.

Cryptosporidium 137 is quite the interesting little ball of nihilism and death-dealing alien vengeance. As we can see in this new gameplay footage, not only is the graphical upgrade looking nice and sharp, but the gameplay is so much more smooth and streamlined now. The mission structure and comedic tone of the story remains completely intact as well.

Crypto and Pax, the two major alien characters in the original, are back once again to sew chaos and discord among the humans. THQ Nordic and developer Black Forest Games are striving to make sure that the remake is as faithful to the original that fans love. One way they’re doing this is to keep the original dialogue between these two greenskins intact, which fans will definitely enjoy even just for the nostalgia.

As for what’s changed, the movement controls and actual mobility of Crypto are getting an overhaul, making it much easier to move the character around. This will also have the knock-on effect of making combat less cumbersome. Animations and motion-capture for many characters in the remake have also been given a rework, so things will appear a little more lifelike.

Crypto is back to explode all foul-smelling gas bags in this remake, and things are about to get very weird. Judge for yourself by taking a look at the full gameplay demo down below.
