Sniper Elite V2 Remastered’s launch trailer takes aim

Sniper Elite V2 Remastered Will Arrive This May

Since the 2011 release of Sniper Elite V2, gamers and fans have been getting a pretty well-defined masterclass in sniping and stealth mechanics from developer Rebellion.  The game franchises that has become more and more defined by zany ways of shooting off Nazi testicles has always had one foot firmly planted in a sense of beautifully disgusting realism, and with more recent releases, that implied lesson in violence has only gotten more intense.

The remastered version of this sniper classic offers a fair number of improvements over the original version, bringing modern visuals and conveniences to the field of battle. The game features, of course, all brand new visuals thanks to the full revamp with 4K texture work and HDR support. And anyone on any of the platforms that support this, console or PC, will have access to this and much more. There’s a ton more visual and technical improvements as well. As of the release of this new launch trailer, we see a bunch of these changes in effect, and they look quite nice in their own way.

With revamped visuals, including HDR and 4K support and much more, Rebellion is making this game look the best it can, and it’s even including all of the previously released content for the game to make sure players get their money’s worth. All of the mission and weapon DLC that was released for the original game is included in the remaster as a result.
